Support multiple vendor software systems to meet the needs of the user by completing necessary tasks in an accurate and timely manner.  Work independently or with a group on assigned projects or requests. Review and communicate with Manager and/or Project Lead weekly.  Develop project plans to ensure completion in an accurate, timely manner by identifying tasks and respective start and completion dates.  Maintain reference to programs or systems to provide maintenance and means of inquiry by documenting the functionality. Resolve problems to insure Health System customer needs are met by troubleshooting, identifying problems and defining implementation solutions. Act as troubleshooter by remaining on-call as scheduled to provide user support and response to user or systems problems, monitor system activity to avoid or identify potential problems. Setup and maintain MS Exchange accounts as well as Blackberry Enterprise Server and the Blackberry devices.  Researched and introduced to decision makers variou applications that would allow for better support of or easing the endusers work load as much as possible.

Specifics:

  • Implemented an online Policy and Procedure repository.
  • Redesigned intranet every two years.
  • Assisted in the installation performed testing, created documentation and rolled out an application that allows for calls to desk phones to also ring at the corresponding users Blackberry.
  • Perform training of end user on various applications such as Outlook Webmail Access, Basic Computer Skills (keyboard/mouse/icons/double clicking), as well as creating a plan for bi-weekly new employee orientation classes.
  • Implemented an application for our Emergency Room doctors that assists them in writing prescriptions as well as printing out directions for those prescriptions.
  • Implemented an application to maintain and provide better access to the endusers Annual Mandatory Inservice information.
  • Implemented an upgrade from MS Office 2000 to MS Office 2007.
